On the evening of 23 August, the descendants of Jews from Dobczyce and local residents gathered at the Dobczyce Castle to reminisce about their relatives and life in the town.
The meeting went on for a long time, with families and residents sharing their memories of the Jewish community and its history not only in Dobczyce, but also in Kraków. These stories of local neighbourhoods and how they have changed over the years were interwoven with joyful and sad stories of Jewish and Polish women from the past.
