CALL ME ISZA – WEBINAR WITH THE LEADERS OF DIALOGUE FROM MALOPOLSKA

The project “Call me Isza. Femininity: the Jewish-Polish Women’s Heritage” is gaining momentum! We have had weeks of preparation, hours of archiving materials and the first networking meetings. Speaking of meetings, we invite you to watch the recording of the project’s webinar, which we organised on 27 June for representatives of Dialogue Leaders from the Małopolska region and representatives of social organisations from the Myślenice district.

The theme of the virtual meeting was our animation and research project “Call me Isza. […]”. During the meeting, the Foundation presented the idea of the project, its objectives and the ways to achieve them. We discussed the stages we have reached so far: we presented the patrons of the event we have acquired, we presented the website created for the project and constantly developed, and we showed the collections we have archived on ZbiorySpołeczne.pl

The main purpose of the meeting was to set out the next steps. These include important meetings with the descendants of the Dobczyce Jews, the first of which will take place in August. Encouraged by the project, the audience participated in the discussion about the project and the forthcoming meetings, to which we invited them to contribute. The declared participation of Dialogue Leaders and activists from the Myślenice, Dobczyce and Wiśniowa areas is important to us and will become a valuable element of the project.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the webinar. For those who did not attend, we encourage you to view the replay below.
